Dear Beloved Parishioners,
Greetings and peace be with you!
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all who generously volunteer in the various ministries of our parish. Through your time, talents, and faithful service, you help make our liturgies prayerful, welcoming, and beautiful.
It is especially encouraging to see more parishioners coming forward to share their gifts and become more actively involved in the life of our parish. We are grateful to those who have recently expressed an interest in serving as ushers and greeters, as well as to those who have faithfully served in this ministry over the years.
One of the important goals of our 2026–2030 Pastoral Plan is to continue strengthening the safety and security of our parish community. As part of this effort, the Pastoral Plan Implementation Committee has offered several helpful recommendations. Because our ushers and greeters play such an important role in welcoming and assisting those who come to our church, we would like to provide some important guidance and awareness regarding safety and security.
I therefore warmly invite all current ushers and greeters to attend one of these important training sessions. If you are not currently serving in this ministry but would like to become an usher or greeter, you are most welcome to join us!
To accommodate as many parishioners as possible, we will offer two training sessions for both new and returning ushers and greeters. Please choose whichever evening works best for you:
- Tuesday, October 20 – 7:00 p.m. (Venue: Church)
- Tuesday, October 27 – 7:00 p.m. (Venue: Church)
Please call the Parish Office at (269) 385-4152 or email
adminassistant@stambrosecc.org to let us know which training date you prefer.
Thank you for your willingness to serve Christ and His Church through this important ministry. Your presence, kindness, attentiveness, and hospitality help every person who enters our church feel welcomed and cared for.
May the Lord bless you abundantly for your generosity, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary accompany you as you faithfully serve our parish community.
Blessings upon you all.
Very Rev. Albert Kemboi, V.F.
