During this month of May, we honor the Blessed Mother. This Sunday is also a day where we remember and honor our own mothers. 

On behalf of our parish community, we wish all mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and godmothers a Happy Mothers Day and God’s blessings!

 On this day, we thank our mothers, by birth or adoption, who have nurtured and supported us through life. A mother’s love is about the best image and reflection of God’s love and care for us. Today especially, we entrust all mothers and future mothers to the love and care of our Blessed Mother, that she will intercede for them before the throne of God.

Bishop Bradley has called together all the active priests of our Diocese to take part in a week-long retreat beginning tomorrow evening and concluding next Friday, noon.  As a result, Fr. Mike and myself will be unreachable for ordinary business until next weekend.  In case of a sacramental emergency, please call the office; Janet will contact the priest who is staying behind to answer such calls.  

Deacon Hal will lead a communion service, rosary and benediction on Friday at 9:15am.

As of last Monday, 92 households had pledged a total of $ 48,200, Which accounts for  81% of our goal.  As we draw close to wrapping up our BAA 2023 we wish to applaud your generosity towards the mission of Christ. We encourage everyone to make St. Ambrose “My Church, my Pride” by actively participating in this appeal and in all the other ministries/activities in the parish.  Together, we will keep shining for the glory of God.
